A stall and small shop near the Bloemenmarkt pressing stroopwafels fresh to order, the caramel syrup still warm and soft between the two thin waffles rather than the packaged, days old version most tourists have only ever tried. Watching the press stamp and split each waffle before it is filled is most of the show, the smell alone pulls people in off the street. Eat it within a few minutes of buying, the caramel firms up fast once it cools.
