About
America's first licensed pizzeria, operating in Little Italy since 1905, still cooks its pies in a coal fired oven that gives the crust a char no gas oven quite replicates. It sells whole pies only, no slices, and the classic margherita with fresh mozzarella remains the order most regulars stick with. Lines form fast at dinner, a late lunch on a weekday is the easier way in.
