A no frills taqueria in Tulum town rather than the beach zone, plastic chairs and a charcoal grill running most of the evening, serving al pastor sliced straight off the trompo with pineapple and a squeeze of lime. It is priced for locals, a rarity in a town where the hotel zone can charge resort prices for the same dish. Go after 7pm when the trompo is fully warmed through, earlier orders can catch it before the edges char properly.
