The two leaning fofoti trees near the Amsterdam Manor end of the beach are the single most photographed spot on the island, and for good reason, the trade wind has bent them sideways over decades into a shape no stylist could plan. Eagle Beach itself is regularly rated among the widest and whitest in the Caribbean, with none of the highrise crowding that lines Palm Beach further north. Walk it in the hour before sunset, the tide pools left by the day's swimmers catch the color best.
