About

A sunken breakwater at the island's southern tip turns the water off Baby Beach into a waist deep, almost current free lagoon, calm enough that it draws more families with young kids than any other stretch of coast on Aruba. Sea turtles feed along the grass beds close to shore often enough that a mask and snorkel is worth packing even for a short stop. There is little natural shade this far from the resorts, bring your own umbrella or go early before the midday sun sets in.
